Is this a real app or just a website?
Web5Pay is a Progressive Web App (PWA) - it's a website that works like a native app. Once installed, it works offline, sends push notifications, and appears on your home screen just like apps from the App Store or Google Play.
Do I need to download it from the App Store?
No! Web5Pay installs directly from the website. This means faster updates, no app store approval delays, and it works on all devices from a single codebase.
Will it use a lot of storage?
No, PWAs are very lightweight. Web5Pay uses less than 5MB of storage, compared to 50-100MB for typical native apps.
Can I uninstall it?
Yes! On iOS, long-press the icon and tap "Remove App". On Android, long-press the icon and drag to "Uninstall" or go to Settings → Apps → Web5Pay → Uninstall.
Is it safe?
Absolutely! PWAs use the same security as websites (HTTPS encryption). Your data is encrypted end-to-end, and we never store your private keys on our servers.
